You blog post’s title is what your website’s visitors are reading at first to get an idea about written in the post. You may have written a great post but if the title fails to complement it; visitors will go for the cross button on the browser and may not return to your blog. The same principle goes for the search engine crawler, who comes to your site and reads the tittle from the codes.
If the title of your blog’s pages’ are not well written and well placed in the HTML of your site, then search engines like Google will penalize your site. As far as on-page Search Engine Optimization is concerned, you do not want to give leave any unwanted flaws and gaps that might reduce your position on search engine results page (SERP).
So, to avoid that you want to make sure your titles inside <title> tag of the blog’s template/HTML code is properly contracted.
The text you see on the tab or window of your browser when you visit a webpage; it is the page title of the web page. They are also used in the search results as the links on top of each result colored in blue to the each result that shows up on the search engine results page (SERP). Check out how Google is showing your blog in the search result by simply searching “site:URL of your site (i.e.. site:www.techinfoknow.com).
You might say this is not a problem, but think again. It is more likely that people will search for a content that they like not you blog. Also what is the point in spending time on writing a great post and its great title is the search engine cannot show it fully and searcher can read it. A bad title in SERP will not help you to get visitors from organic search. Chances are you post in not coming in the search result of the keyword/topic that you have write the post for.
So you need the blog’s posts are shown in the search result in Google is to look like this;
